EFFECTIVE SUICIDE PREVENTION FOR VETERANS & SURVIVORS

Proudly Sponsored By

Veterans face unique challenges: PTSD, physical disabilities, heightened loneliness, and a lack of adequate support, leading to a heightened risk of depression, anxiety, and even suicide, all from the noble pursuit of protecting others.

Over 20 veterans lose their lives to suicide each day. The system too often neglects those who have sacrificed the most.

Combat Recovery Foundation is dedicated to fighting this crisis head-on, combating this invisible enemy, and helping our heroes recover from their wounds of service.

Don't Panic! Trauma Class for Dummies

deskchair workspace - 201 E 4th St, Loveland, CO 80537
5:00 pm - 8:00 pm
When someone is seriously injured, the first few minutes matter most, and most people freeze because they don't know what to do. This hands-on class teaches the basics of trauma first aid: how to stay calm, assess the situation, and take the right actions to stabilize a victim until EMS arrives.

FREE. No medical training required. Just practical, real-world skills anyone can learn and use.

Taught by Raj Murphy, a paramedic instructor who brings real, field-tested experience straight into the room.

What you'll learn:

How to recognize a life-threatening injury and respond fast
Basic bleeding control techniques (direct pressure, wound packing, tourniquet use)
How to keep a victim stable and calm while waiting for help
What to say when you call 911, and what EMS actually needs to hear
How to stay level-headed under pressure instead of freezing

Who should come: Anyone. Parents, coworkers, hikers, drivers, anyone who wants to know they can act instead of panic if the moment ever comes.
